Sirloin and Veggie Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water) or metal skewers 1 lb sirloin, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 1⁄2 cup Zesty Italian dressing
  • 1⁄2 red pepper, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 1⁄2 green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch chunks 1⁄4 cup red onion, cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 8 whole mushrooms
  • 8 cherry tomatoes

Directions

  1. Place sirloin chunks and 1⁄4 cup Italian dressing in a gallon size zip top plastic bag and the vegetables and the remaining 1⁄4 cup dressing in another bag. Seal the bags and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Skewer 2-3 pieces of sirloin and alternate the vegetables between the sirloin cubes on each skewer.
  3. Preheat gas grill to 350 degrees. Brush grate with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill skewers over the flame, 2 minutes per side to sear meat and veggies.
  5. Finish off grilling away from the flame, 4 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.
