“I want to thank them very much for giving me my son”Play Video
We have a lot of great stories to tell. But let’s hear yours first.
On November 3, 2017, Monica Hinojosa, came in to Physicians Premier Emergency Room Calallen with complaints of abdominal pain.
She was 25 weeks pregnant and suspected that her water had broken.
Shortly after arrival, she spontaneously delivered an extremely delicate preterm baby boy who was not breathing. The emergency room team successfully resuscitated and called 911 for immediate transport and transfer to Bay Area Hospital where a group of physicians and nurses awaited baby. He stayed a few months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Bay Area. The Hinojosa family was fortunate to get to their closest ER in time for what is referred to medically as a precipitous labor delivery. Baby presented breach and without the immediate presence of emergency medical expertise, would not likely have survived.
The Hinojosa family extend their deepest thanks to the ER staff on duty that day, including the first responders at the Annaville Fire Department.
I have been here twice, once for me and once for my daughter. Dr. Kenyon and Dr. Grieme are the absolute best. The staff is courteous and thoughtful. We were in and out very quickly. I have recommended to all of my friends and coworkers. Great addition to the community. Love this place!- Shelly S. | Corpus Christi, TX
So relieved I did not have to wait forever to be seen. Knew this was going to be my next place to go versus a hospital emergency room. Feel so much better now and to know the cause of the pain is such a relief. Thank you all so much for the courteous kind care.- Colleen I. | Corpus Christi, TX
Such a wonderful ER, my husband has been here twice and both times has been taken right in and given the best care! We know we can rely on Physicians Premier ER for our emergent needs! Thank You to the wonderful and caring staff!- Audra C. | Corpus Christi, TX
