Physicians Premier Went Above and Beyond During Hurricane Harvey to Provide Compassionate Care

We at Physicians Premier are here for our patients when they needed it most. Our dedicated staff worked tirelessly before, during, and after Hurricane Harvey to treat, house, feed, and care for our community in need. We’re not neighbors – we are family! This is the Physicians Premier spirit. We will ALWAYS do our utmost to ensure that we continue to provide quality patient care our community deserves. Thank you for recognizing our efforts.

This is a letter from a member in the community who had an experience.

Good afternoon Ms. Anzaldua,

I am writing to congratulate you on the professionalism, caring and dedication of your staff at the Physicians Premier Clear Lake Office at 3351 Clear Lake City Blvd.

During the night of the flooding of Hurricane Harvey, your staff was bunkered down in their office due to the flooded streets and high-water in the Clear Lake area. Several people, including myself, were marooned in the parking lots and roads near their facility.

With the power out and the intense rain, flooding and wind, your emergency care room was one of the only places in the area that could serve as a temporary refuge from the storm.

Your team invited us into the safety and security of your facility instead of having people sit in their cars or huddle under the awnings of the shopping center/strip mall.

They gave people shelter and some food, water, coffee and towels in order to dry off.

They and your organization are to be commended.

I would specifically like to thank Craig Raif, Krysta Clark, Jason Herbst, Christian Coates, and Dr. O’Conell.

We are fortunate to have first responders and care-givers like them in our community.

I hope there is some way that you can highlight or share with their management my thanks and appreciation for what they did.
