CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (September 8, 2016) – PHYSICIANS PREMIER ER today announced the new Calallen opening event, its fifth Coastal Bend ER location.
Physicians Premier ER invites the community to an Open House event Tuesday, September 20th from 5 to 7 p.m. to meet the ER Physicians, tour the facility and learn more about Freestanding Emergency Centers.
Demand for quality care has lead this physician-owned and operated emergency medical care service to expand, providing expert Emergency medical care closer to local residents and workers in the area.
“We recognized that there was an unmet need when it comes to emergency care in the Coastal Bend. There weren’t enough doctors to meet the needs of the working population in a timely manner,” said Dr. Lonnie Schwirtlich, one of Premier’s founders. “That’s why we decided to open these non-traditional emergency rooms in multiple locations. We want to modernize and improve the ER experience and bring efficient medical attention and treatment a little closer to home.”
As a Freestanding Emergency Center, Physicians Premier ER offers patients a modern emergency room experience from the moment they walk into the waiting room to paying the bill. Differences include being seen by an Emergency Medicine trained and experienced physician, fast lab results on-site, a singular bill for all services provided, a short wait if any, a relaxing environment, and a swift referral to a choice of area hospitals.
