Teri has spent her 30+ year medical career listening to patients, listening to her community, listening to employees, and listening to doctors to transform care through a hardcore commitment to compassion, quality, transparency, and serious service.
Dr. Grieme grew up in Springfield, Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University and then attended the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He attended residency at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi and began his first emergency room work assignment in Refugio at Memorial Hospital. He is a Founder and serves on the Governing Board, actively involved in the clinical and business operations of Physicians Premier.
Dr. Grieme has worked in emergency medicine in multiple hospitals throughout South Texas. As a Founder and Governing Board member, he is active in the clinical and business operations of Physicians Premier.
He and his wife live in Corpus Christi and have four children. Medicine is a continued legacy in the Grieme family with one son practicing emergency medicine and two children presently in residency. His daughter Sasha has given him his greatest love, his two beautiful grandchildren. His family loves a Coastal Bend lifestyle filled with boating, fishing, traveling together, and enjoying family outings.
Dr. Paul David Kenyon grew up in Amarillo. He earned his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in College Station and studied a year abroad at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1989, earning a medical degree, and went on to complete a residency in Family Medicine at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in 1992. Since that time, he has practiced emergency medicine and primary care in the Coastal Bend area. He is a Founder and serves on the Governing Board, actively involved in the clinical and business operations of Physicians Premier.
Dr. Kenyon and his wife Dyana have two older daughters and two teenage boys. The Kenyon family enjoys sports, outdoor activities and traveling together. He and his wife Dyana have two daughters and two sons.
Dr. Kwon grew up in Maryland. He obtained his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine from The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Kwon is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a Founder and serves on the Governing Board, actively involved in the clinical and business operations of Physicians Premier.
Prior to Physicians Premier, Dr. Kwon served as the Medical Director for Emerus Emergency Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas. During his tenure at Emerus, he was part of the leadership team that converted a Freestanding ER to a Micro Hospital, the first to do so in the state of Texas. Emerus Emergency Hospital was also the first Specialty Micro Hospital, specializing in Emergency Medicine in the state. Dr. Kwon also briefly served as the Regional Medical Director for Emerus.
He lives with his beautiful wife and three daughters in Richmond, Texas. His favorite verse is Psalm 27:4. He is a great golfer… only in his imagination. Dr. Kwon loves to hunt and fish — vicariously through his partners.
Raised in South Texas, Dr. Shahan is excited to be back in his home state. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 2000 and his medical degree from Texas Tech University in 2005. He then completed his residency with the Rural Training Track at Spokane Family Medicine in Spokane and Colville, WA, from 2005 to 2008 — an experience he loved. He is a Founder and serves on the Governing Board, actively involved in the business operations of Physicians Premier.
Emergency medicine has been Dr. Shahan’s primary focus, and he has practiced in the ER since 2008. This work has taken him to practice opportunities in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and he maintains an active medical license in all three states.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shahan’s interests include the study of Christian philosophy, apologetics, and the enjoyment of his family. He has made a home with his wife Candice and their five children in Corpus Christi.
